Hi, I’m Andrew Belmont, founder of JustTheKit.com

Before starting this company, I served in the Army. I spent years carrying a machine gun, body armor, and everything else that comes with the job. Like a lot of veterans, those miles eventually caught up with me. These days, my back and knees remind me of it more often than I’d like.

One weekend I was washing my wife’s car and found myself kneeling on the driveway, bent over cleaning wheels and lower panels. Halfway through, my knees were killing me, and my back was on fire. I remember thinking, “There has to be a better way to do this.”

That’s what led to the creation of the DIY Car Wash.

I wanted a simple solution that made washing a vehicle more comfortable, more organized, and more convenient. The rolling dolly lets you move around the vehicle with ease, while the bucket lid doubles as a seat so you’re not constantly kneeling, crouching, or bending over to clean tires or lower panels.
